@supercinephilie.bsky.socialPtit Thread de #Below :
Comme je l'avais dit hier .. J'ai du flairđ.
En regardant la BA, j'ai de suite penser a un téléfilm de 90's que j'affectionne beaucoup. Effectivement, il y'a énormément de ca (tiré d'un livre).
Bon ensuite, a dire vrai y'a d'autres élément autour (Et tant mieux hein).
@drfusel.bsky.social#Below 6teilige Netflix Serie um seltsame #Eisberge und #Riesenkalmare um #Neufundland, unausgegorene, nicht immer ĂŒberzeugende aber unterhaltsame Mischung. đđđ
@funkypuffin56.bsky.socialI take back everything i said in praise of #Below on Netflix.
Eps 4,5,6 seem completely unconnected to 1,2&3
Different show and nonsensical enshittification. Sad. đOh wellđ€·đœ
@marxistdad.bsky.socialIf you like the @netflix.com series #Below & want a bit of the history it hinted at about how Canada's state & capitalist ruling class "relocated" & destroyed 300+ communities of Newfoundland's independent fishermen (1946-75) see "Billy Crane Moves Away" (1967). #NFB

@marxistdad.bsky.socialâJeezis bâyâ indeed. Those Newf accents in #Below are mostly both inconsistent and unconvincing.

@bobbybless219.bsky.social#OverallThoughts: Netflix's #Below is a perplexing limited series. On one hand, if it were intentionally made to be reminiscent of Roger Corman's later films... they passed with flying colors. If not, then it's just a sloppy series that ultimately spirals into laughably bad territory.

@sharrow.eurosky.socialThe accents in #Below are sending me.
I know they are Newfies and so the range of scots/irish accents.
Josh Hartnett is as easy on the eyes as ever but, his accent is making me twitch.
