What you don't see behind the scenes are artists reorganizing totes, unraveling cords, opening new bags. This was my day yesterday prepping for MOCA Boardwalk. I can't wait to see you all out there. Find me in booth 2725!

Doing a little prep work for MOCA Boardwalk before diving back into figure sketches.

I've been running my butt off lately and need a breather. November? I think that's November. In the meantime, I'll be here, there, and everywhere 😉

Playing with beads and prepping for the Hermitage Handmade Festival this weekend. I've got two pieces fresh off the loom, too, where I've been playing with a new pattern. Next, playing with a new program to help me plan those patterns.

The colors in this piece make it hard to photograph. The beads have an rainbow finish in order to get that oil slick look.

"Oil Slick," peyote stitch with Miyuki Delica seed beads, stainless steel chain and snap clasp.
