@jfmezei at this point I would say these polls translate to a slim #BCCP majority (more likely), or minority.

As for a leadership convention. Doerkson has said that if their party is elected, he will be Premier for a time. They’ve said nothing about a convention to pick a ‘permanent’ leader.

New polls that were completed up to Oct 2nd have the #BCNDP still trailing the #BCCP.

But we’re moving into the meat of the election now, the initial shock is wearing off, and the issues are crystallizing.

It was revealed yesterday that the […]

The latest polls show 3 straight results with clear BCCP leads by Angus, Mainstreet, and Isos. Innovative Strategies is the last poll, taken September 27, showing an NDP lead. The largest gap between BCCP and NDP is +8 from Mainstreet. A screenshot of the picture from the article with the title:

But there was also this: “This comment section is why no self-respecting Sikh should ever vote Conservative.

Let these inbred hillbillies cope and seethe, they will never win an election again until the racism is cleansed from them.”

Traitors

This week, @DonegalWilson and @McInnis_4MLA became the eighth and ninth MLAs to abandon KLF’s caucus, with both citing concerns surrounding Findlay’s reported connections to Alberta #separatism as reasons for leaving.

@RobShaw_BC has gone considerably further. As the caucus began disintegrating, Shaw wrote that Findlay, Delaney, and
Chapman were attempting to "run roughshod over the rest."
That combination is worth examining. Chapman's connection to Delaney also did not begin with this leadership. Their professional overlap goes back at least to 1998, when Chapman appeared as an actor in The Littlest Angel's Easter, a production on which Delaney is credited as a
producer. Almost three decades later, Delaney became his wife's Chief of Staff, while
Chapman himself joined her formal leadership team.
Then there is separatism. The BC NDP has identified Chapman as a member of several pro-separation Facebook groups, including the Western Independence Party of British Columbia
and WEXITmovement.com.
That allegation takes on considerably more significance today. This week, @DonegalWilson and @Mclnnis_4MLA became the eighth and ninth MLAs to abandon KLF's caucus, with both citing concerns surrounding Findlay's
reported connections to Alberta separatism among their reasons for leaving.
And then there is perhaps the strangest part of all.
