How can anyone listen to the contempt shown by a sneering Nick Robinson when interviewing Zack Polanski on Radio 4 this morning, compared to the deference shown to right wing politicians and still believe the BBC impartial?

Seems #BBCRadio4 has a new target to attack, listening to the client journalism right now.

That a discussion of intellectual issues with intellectuals is being axed on #BBCRadio4 should be a warning from, and to, history. But seems to be accepted with a whimper, not a bang. We don't deserve it, I guess. #BBCFreeThinking.

Why isn't #themoralmaze being axed?

#JeffreyArcher was on radio yesterday, sounded quite robust, talking about his last book as he was retiring from writing, think it was #BH on #BBCRadio4, maybe it was on #AdamBoulton on #TimesRadio.

Interesting grammatical "miscorrection" heard on #BBCRadio4 today: someone who didn't want to end their sentence with a preposition carefully avoided something like

A: ". . . using the base to strike Iran from"

by instead saying

B: ". . . using the base from which to strike Iran".
