The latest #babashka release (224) bundles clojure.data.json so you no longer have to write reader conditionals for JVM/bb dispatching on data.json vs cheshire #clojure

github.com/babashka/ffi 0.1.2 is now released, the first public mvn version on clojars.

The library comes with #babashka, but is usable from JVM #clojure, native-image and now Node.js 26 too!
It's also included in a new nbb release.

New #babashka that can load :deps from bb.edn without Java, it can run tools.build, nREPL improvements (nrepl.core now bundled!) and more!

Next version of #babashka will no longer need java to resolve dependencies from github and maven in its bb.edn.
It will also include a fully working copy of tools.deps. This enables tools.build as well. You can test all of this with the dev build right now (ask me how it if interested)
