Day 03 - Candle It was mid-October. The setting sun bathed the city of Linkon in fading streaks of burning gold, and instead of sitting in on the quarterly shareholder meeting, the Chairman of EonCore Tech was acting as an errand-boy. Business would be fine; his sister, Valerie, would lead the discussion in his stead. She was highly capable in her role as Vice-Chairman, though in reality she was more of a co-chairman. Together, the Ao siblings were a fantastic team. That doesn't stop her from giving him grief about leaving the responsibility in her lap this time. "She must be quite the lady if you're ditching the shareholder meeting to play fetch for her, Ko-coa," she groused over the speaker in his car. Her usage of his childhood nickname—given to him as a toddler after he'd sneaked into the kitchen pantry, eaten an entire canister of cocoa powder, and made himself sick—softens the barb into run-of-the-mill sibling-banter.
