Book #56 is Dungeon Crawler Carl. I was avoiding this book because it was so popular (I know, but I swear I'm not "that guy"), but some friends highly recommended it, so I decided to give it a shot. It's unhinged, crazy, pulpy, & nods to pop culture in a relatable way. I like it! #autumnofaction

Book #55 is Lethal Tender, the 7th book in the Team Reaper series. This entry delivers all of the action that you'd expect, but with a larger degree of self reflection with one of the main characters. It humanizes him and gives the book an added degree of depth. #autumnofaction #reading #booksky

Book #54 is Thorn by Terrance Layhew. Its been a long time since I'd read a medieval swashbuckler. This was different, yet familiar enough that I'd give it a shot and I'm glad that I did. I recommend that if you're not usually into medieval swashbuckling adventure, give this a try! #autumnofaction

Book #53 is another G.I. Joe graphic novel, this time a collection of their silent missions. The 1st, which was issue #21 of the original series, was a paradigm shift for comics, storytelling, & the series. This collection is enjoyable, but I do recommend several readings! #autumnofaction #gijoe

Book #51 is The French Illusion by John Grisham. This is his attempt at the spy thriller & for me, it falls flat. I didn't care for the characters & there was little that would actually qualify this as a spy novel. Grisham fans will like this, but it's not spy novel. #autumnofaction #booksky #books

Book #50 is Cold Kill by Andrew Warren. This is the sequel to Devil's Due & addresses the fallout from the events in the previous book. This is a gritty revenge tale that mixes elements of The Count of Monte Cristo and The Most Dangerous Game. It was a truly exciting read! #autumnofaction #booksky
