Autumn is such a pretty time of year, especially when the sun is shining. There were plenty of signs of autumn during my walk this morning, from orange leaves on the pavement, to the damp, bonfire smell in the air. Some beautiful flashes of red caught my eye, so out came my camera!

vines fade feebly ... indoors beckons

... Spiced strawberry tea steams ... lunch crockery all cleared ... lone luscious rose hints of summer ... scented lavender bags bring homely charm ... somnolent clock ticks... siesta descends.

Jesus is here ... walls lighten as sun intensifies ... green glass glints ... hills reassemble ... vista reveals hues of rust and custard ... sea dissolves
