Harvesting Betelgeuse and Antares for lunch...
In my mind, these three lounge tomatoes are like three mighty giant stars at different stages of development.
The smallest 'mato is the youngest, like blue giant Rigel.
The medium sized orange giant in the foreground like Antares, and behind it is angry red Betelgeuse
And sometimes you see someone present a draft in a collab meeting and know that the paper will be soooo impactful 🤩 Sooo exciting!
A week into the new fiscal year, and my research group is still averaging more than one submitted proposal per day (PI-ed in my group). Not something we will be able to sustain, mind you, but it's fun while it is lasting!
