Day 11 - Wistful

Featuring my cyborg OC

#artober #artober2026 #artoberfriends2026 #poem #poetry #atakjioc

A black and white drawing of a cyborg character with big, crying eyes looking At the viewer

A poem that reads: Craving new words to explain,
We’re so different, yet the same,
I know machines can’t feel the pain,
And still, you notice my dying flame.

Clanky voices, rusty moves, you give me hope
My mind is silent while my heart can’t cope,
Full with feelings this new body must contain,
Maybe I’ll be able to dance again.

Day 10 - secret meeting

Featuring Dera & Erry (both she/her)
Not my favorite drawing, but artober is not about making perfect drawings. I showed up, made something and tomorrow is another day <3

#artoberfriends 2026 - "Bloom"
I got REALLY carried away with this Mysterious Flower Wizard, who I may just name Bloom. Been enjoying figuring out my lineless style in Clip Studio. (also been working on my alt text descriptions!🌸)
#artoberfriends2026

A vibrant, lineless digital illustration depicting a mysterious cloaked figure in a lush garden of colorful flowers. The wizard-like figure is clad in a bright green and purple cloak decorated with large, reddish-pink flowers. Atop its head rests a large, floppy, wide-brimmed green hat. The outfit appears to be made of flowy fabrics resembling shrubbery. Between the high, fluffy collar and brim of the hat, the character's face is obscured by shadow, with only a pair of large, glowing red eyes visible with small twinkles of red on either side of its face. Next to the wizard is a darkly colored staff planted in the ground, with a small plant pot tied to it at the middle. A light green vine has grown from the pot around the staff and up to the top, where a spiny, carnivorous flower has bloomed.
Behind the layers of tall, pink grass and red, blue, and yellow flowers, a dull blue barred fence displays the word "BLooM" in irregular, thick lettering. The bars are lightly touched by pink flowers and clusters of pink dots resembling spores or loose vines.

#artoberfriends 2026 - "Spirits"
Been in a real Solomona (OC, any/all) mood recently. Why not have a spooky card spirit too?
#artoberfriends2026

A striking, high-contrast digital illustration primarily composed of deep pinkish reds and cold blues. In the foreground strides Solomona (any/all) one of my D&D OCs. They are a dark-skinned 'Star Elf' with long, fluffy ears and antennae, as well as a long tail with a tuft of fur at the end. They are wearing a bright red draping cropped shirt with a form-fitting black bodysuit/romper underneath, and gartered black thigh-high boots. A wide-brimmed black hat obscures the top half of their face, and a long, yellow scarf flows to the side from around their neck. In their right hand is a single, yellow card held aloft. In their left, they wield a thin black sword.
Behind Solomona in the background looms an abstract spirit with a head shaped like the back of a tarot card, with a huge, otherworldly eye emblazoned on its center. Its disembodied shoulders resemble black stars with eyeballs in the center, from each of which a long indigo arm flows like a ribbon. Each arm ends in a wiry black hand with fingers grasping theatrically. The rest of the spirit's body is a collection of orbs, jagged lines and spirals that vaguely suggest some kind of humanoid anatomy. Behind both figures is a light blue cloud that outlines them both.

#artoberfriends 2026 - "Symmetry"
As a Photoshop refugee I wanted to figure out how CSP does radial symmetry tools, and got lost in the weeds making a 5-sided piece with all sorts of little colors, shapes, and details. Love the occasional dive into abstract work✌️
#artoberfriends2026

$A colorful, radially symmetrical illustration with five mirrors of the same dense collection of abstract shapes. Each of the five mirrored sections is separated with a line of square block letters forming the word "SYMMETRY". Each of these lines intersects at the "Y" in the upper-mid center of the canvas, forming a star-like shape with a deep pink fractal in its center resembling a flower. Other flowers can be seen in some of the abstract shapes throughout the piece, though most are non-representational and more closely resemble cacti, fallen leaves, or tiny bacteria.$

#artoberfriends 2026 - "Bug"
First drawing of the month, gonna be more sporadic with this one as my October's gonna be real hectic this year. Still planning to try and do all 25 of our prompts though!
#artoberfriends2026

A lineless digital cartoonish illustration of a shapey pink bug woman with long, flowing hair and antennae. She is riding a giant, spikey black beetle with long, purple legs, curly antennae, and six visible eyes. The woman is wielding a long, thin spear and sits on a dark greyish blue saddle laid over the beetle's segmented body, with loose reins tied around its snout. A chunky yellow and brown background shows jagged, rocky terrain with a dull yellow backdrop, on which the word "BUG" is written in large, thin blue letters to fill out the composition.

Prompts 3 & 4 - nightmare and Dream. For #artoberfriends2026

Having nightmare and Dream back to back made it literally impossible for me not to make them the same piece featuring @lovelyhoneybun.bsky.social and my villains in love lol! 👀 (this is gonna get a digital version im sure! lol)

A traditionally sketched image based on a playing card, the top side says 3 - nightmare, and the image is of a main whose face is hidden by his hair. He is crying and clutching his hands over his ears. Ripped ribbons surround him and leering eyes are behind him as a shadow hand grabs for him. Half way down the page, the ripped ribbons begin to turn into full beautiful one, and they surround a woman who looks peaceful with her eyes closed. Her hair is out long and flows down her back. In the bottom corner are the words 4 - Dream.

Same image as the first but flipped so dream is on top and nightmare is the bottom .

Day 1 - Ruins for #artoberfriends2026

If I stick to the whole challenge, i’ll just be doing little diddies like this so they won’t end up on Sleepyduo main account. But should end up in the art feed :)
