#inktober2026 days 4 & 5

Smashed Up

Description in Alt

#inktober2026cactus #inktober2026smack #artistscommunity #inktober #cartoonstyle #cactus #accident #injuries

A cartoon of a cactus plant with horrific injuries. Most of his body (including his left leg) has been bandaged up. The bandages are covered in blood stains. The deep red-orange pot he’s sitting in is cracked. The other pot was smashed to smithereens. QUOTE FROM ME “ Looks like this guy’s in a pretty bad way after his bad tempered owner just picked him up & threw him. He just smacked into the wall at lightning speed. I’m surprised he lived to tell the tale! I didn’t actually plan on doing blood for this one but I ended up having to cos I had a little accident of my own while drawing. My orange Sharpie smudged & left a few stains on the paper so I thought I’d cover the Sharpie stains with drops of blood squirting from my cactus. Just swipe along to see the offending Sharpie”A cartoon of a cactus plant with horrific injuries. Most of his body (including his left leg) has been bandaged up. Deep in the woods these fairies live in their own miniature world….

The Village By The Stream

#artistscommunity #inktober2026miniature #inktober2026 #inktober #fantasyart #folklore #fairytale #fairycastle #woodland #magic

A picture of a fairytale village surrounded by trees. The tree trunks are all in different shades of brown. The trees all have autumn leaves in different shades of green, orange & gold. On an island in the stream stands a white fairytale castle with the stream acting as the castle’s moat. In front of the castle are some houses in the shape of toadstools. Their rooftops are all different shades of red, orange, brown & violet. The grass around them is yellow. That’s partly cos the sun’s shining on it & partly cos of its autumn colour of gold

Dream Time

Short story in Alt

#artistscommunity #fantasyart #luciddreams #dreams #landscapes #clocks #julikeithot2026lucid #julikeithot2026 #julikeithot #clockart #rivers #streams #trees

A picture of a young woman sailing downstream in a red teacup. She’s surrounded by black clocks with shadows on the right hand sides of their faces. The time on all of the clocks is 2 o’clock. In front of each clock there are 2 trees. One on the left & the other on the right all in a repeating pattern. STORY In the freezing cold air of a late autumn night, she dreams of sailing through crystal clear waters. It isn’t a ship that she sails in though. It’s a teacup. She’s just sailing along smoothly. Just drifting along. Nothing seems to bother her. Not even the clocks surrounding her landscape cos even time only exists in her subconscious mind

Called away on a secret mission, he left his spell books behind….

Book Magic

#artistscommunity #julikeithot2026books #julikeithot2026 #julikeithot #fantasyart #aiart #castles #books #halloween #spellbooks #magic

In the foreground is an open book with the page it’s open at marked by a bright red bookmark. On the left of the open book are 2 smaller books, along with a few other odds & ends. Behind the open book are 2 larger books. Both are stacked one on top of the other & kept in a decorative bookcase with a huge abstract carving on top of it. Behind the carving is a castle surrounded by planets & moons & looking a bit Harry Potter-ish (which is why my 1st thought was of witches, wizards & all other magical things) The open book sits on top of a wooden worktop of some kind. The worktop looks battered & old

The Lost World

A picture of a triangle somewhere in the mountains. The triangle is on fire. It’s engulfed in flames of red & gold with smoke in different shades of grey & turquoise drifting over the mountains. In the triangle stands a castle. The castle looks pretty imposing against the turquoise sky. The entrance to the castle is lit with orange light. A young woman stands on the bridge that leads to the entrance.
