UPDATE👀 Our in-house GRAF model has backed off on rainfall BIG TIME across eastern AR, which is no surprise given the influence of dry air west of #Isaias after landfall.

This shows the 1" amounts staying east of the Miss. River, leaving much of central Arkansas totally dry. #ARwx #ARStormTeam

SATURDAY🌧️ The farther east you go, the better your rain chances in AR! Central AR may only get trace amounts, perhaps up to a quarter inch.

BREAKING🌀 Our first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic season has developed... Hurricane #Isaias is expected to become a Cat 2 by Thu night.

From there, it takes aim on the AL/FL coast Friday night into Sat. before spreading rainfall inland--perhaps parts of central and eastern AR. #ARwx #ARStormTeam

Heat builds through late-week... But temps ease up a bit into the weekend as Isaias passes to our east in a much weaker form.

The question is... How much rain will it bring to eastern AR? As of now, we believe amounts will be light w/ heaviest totals near the Mississippi River. #ARwx #ARStormTeam
