The #SeptemberDays, a last major massacre of #WorldWarI, began on #ThisDayInHistory in 1918. The #Ottoman forces of #EnverPasha intervened in the #RussianCivilWar just to slaughter the #Armenians of #Baku, #Azerbaijan, meaning this event is a part of the wider #ArmenianGenocide.

#ArmenianGenocide refugees fleeing #Ottoman troops put up a fight at #MusaDagh in #HatayProvince. Just as ammunition was running out, they were seen by five #French warships under Vice Admiral Louis Dartige du Fournet & 4,004 survivors were evacuated on #ThisDayInHistory in 1915.
