Looking down
An object screams from the ground
Violent stories of falling from grace
Begging release into decay

A high-key, high-contrast black and white photograph, processed with a cold cyan-silver duotone. The image captures a pair of prescription eyeglasses half-buried and trapped in coarse, dry, granular soil. One wire rim (upper center) is hollow, like an empty eye socket. The other lens (lower left) is completely obscured, caked in grit. The frame is trapped by dried leaves and roots, rendered with forensic, shocking aggression and flattened depth.
