Hey #LinuxAudio peeps, I am sending OSC data to my DAW to control a synth. There's a big latency between the OSC message and the sound in #reaper, but *not* in #ardour. Anyone got an idea why?

of all the things in #music production, i still struggle with mixing

maybe it's just my #ardour settings, but preventing peaking on the master just sounds too quiet sometimes

besides, fitting all the tracks with sufficient volume (even just 3 or 4) without peaking is still difficult
