The Knowe, just off Albert Drive on the Southside of Glasgow. This beautiful Romanesque villa was designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson and was constructed as a country house in several stages in the 1850s.

A fantastic set of three Thomsoneseque attic windows on Shields Road on the Southside of Glasgow. I love the shape of the space created between them, which somehow seems just as solid as the surrounding stone.

The former Pollokshields West Church on the corner of Nithsdale Road and Shields Road on the Southside of Glasgow. Built in the 1870s, it has a distinctly Thomsonesque look, but was designed by W.G. Rowan.

Love this pair of walruses supporting the sculpted coat of arms above the entrance to Ocean Chambers on West George Street in Glasgow. It was constructed in 1899 for the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation.
