Well, for #AR6, there was an MoU between @iiasa.ac.at & #IPCC, and the database was published together with the report, creating a clear attribution.

Given that only publications count for fame & funding, there is a rationale to first have an own publication before others can use the work freely.

Half a year ago, we released the first #ScenarioCompass ensemble of emissions pathways, building on the #IPCC #AR6 database and compiling more recent scenario publications.

Most importantly, we added feasibility & sustainability indicators to provide context.

Now we released an update: #SCI v1.1 🎉

In this paper we quantify government's engagement in the topics of carbon management (abatement technologies, CDR, BECCS, etc.) and nature based solutions in the approval of the #IPCC #AR6, two topics that would land in the outcome of the first global stocktake at #COP28
