Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro will include a special "Reference Image" mode designed for authentication. It lets you know the image that you see is the image that came off the image sensor, and it hasn't been modified or adjusted, by AI or anything else.

The #AppleReferenceImage technology is very interesting to me! Besides adding the legally required #waterMark to #AI generated or modified images, having a proven original and a way to prove a picture is a photo is super important! Great to see this being developed!
