One of fundraisers this month is for cleaning supplies to keep our facilities clean and sanitary.
We've seen increases in infections coming through the clinic alongside the prices for the supplies rocketing 🚀

@ksarshelter.bsky.socialOur girls had a very chill day with their mulberry branches and their caretaker.
As we prepare for fall 🍁 we'll be keeping their room as warm as their species needs, which is much warmer than Kabul!

@ksarshelter.bsky.socialWe are home to around 500 beloved animals right now and we help members of the community care for far more.
Your support is what lets us do this and lets us be a resource for some of the most vulnerable animals in the world.

@ksarshelter.bsky.socialIt’s an amazing thing to be accepted by these little girls 🐒
It's taken a lot of time and patience to gain their trust and affection.
Definitely worth it! ❤️

@ksarshelter.bsky.socialBreakfast time for our baby bunnies 🐇
Tiny bunnies, big appetites, and the sweetest way to start the day.
Nothing beats a healthy breakfast of fresh greens and veggies with your little bunny family.

@ksarshelter.bsky.socialHundreds of animals are also provided preventative and routine care each month.
Our facility rent costs pay for alot, and we can keep everyone in these pictures, and so many more, housed and safe.
@ksarshelter.bsky.socialOur girls are getting much better at sharing during mealtime!
Banana time 🍌 is still supervised, because Sheringul is very protective of hers, but they have learned to share the rest of their buffets very politely.
@ksarshelter.bsky.socialBecause today is #fivedollarfriday, we'll be posting some of our fundraising links, so please do keep an eye out!
Please enjoy some of the faces that your support helps us to support every day.
@ksarshelter.bsky.socialOur vets are having a very busy night at the clinic, dealing with post op patients and urgent intake, whilst our residents are bedded down for the night.
It takes so much effort to provide peace and safety like this, but we believe it's worth it.
@ksarshelter.bsky.social“Animals are sentient, intelligent, perceptive, funny, and entertaining. We owe them a duty of care as we do to children.”
