The book cover appears on the right and shows a sketch-like portrait of a Roman emperor above the title on a teal background. On the left, a review quote reads: “This will become an indispensable work for the understanding of the [Roman] Empire.” The endorsement is attributed to Prof. Dr. Juan Manuel Cortés Copete of Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Seville.
