Today, I felt warmth beneath my feet and a deep connection to the earth. Among the old trees, I sensed the presence of a witch—perhaps a guide, perhaps the witch within me 🖤

A towering humanoid forest guardian stands before the massive trunk of an ancient tree, its body formed almost entirely from twisted wood, roots, bark, moss, vines, and leafy growth. The figure fills most of the vertical composition. Long branching antlers rise from its head and merge visually with a tangled crown of vines and slender branches spreading outward on both sides. Its narrow, weathered face appears carved from pale wood, partially covered by moss and vegetation.

Jagged layers of bark form broad shoulders and a rough natural armor across the guardian's chest and torso. Its left arm hangs downward, ending in elongated rootlike fingers, while its raised right arm extends toward the viewer with several long, sharp wooden claws. Thick roots twist around its lower body and spread across the forest floor.

Behind the figure, an enormous tree trunk covered with faint angular markings rises beyond the top of the scene. Warm golden light streams through mist from the right, illuminating drifting leaves, dust, and fragments of vegetation. Several translucent green humanoid spirits glow near the guardian's feet and among the surrounding roots. Dark blurred foliage frames portions of the foreground, creating depth and the impression of witnessing the guardian from within dense woodland.

$A vertical dark-fantasy scene depicts a solitary cloaked figure standing in a shadowy forest before an enormous tree-like formation resembling the lower half of a colossal humanoid body. Two massive trunk-like legs rise from sprawling, twisted roots, forming a tall archway between them. Above the opening, the immense structure broadens into a cracked, weathered mass of wood and stone-like material, its surface fractured into irregular plates and covered with hanging vines, tangled roots, and dark vegetation. The upper portion disappears into pale fog and drifting smoke-like haze. Through the arch between the giant legs, a narrow corridor of slender trees recedes toward a soft cream-colored glow in the distance. The traveler stands near the center foreground with their back toward the viewer, wearing a long black cloak that trails loosely to one side and holding a thin staff upright. Wet ground, shallow reflective water, scattered stones, exposed roots, and fallen branches fill the foreground. Tall, nearly bare tree trunks surround the central structure and fade gradually into mist. The restrained gray-green and charcoal palette gives the scene an aged, dreamlike quality, while the tiny human silhouette emphasizes the overwhelming scale of the forest colossus.
