I’d like to say it hasn’t even been a year since I posted a sketch of this piece here, but oh dear, it’s actually been exactly a year
Still, I’ll give my past self credit for choosing a composition that I still think is good, even a year on👍

Just another dead fish on the shore...

Death Stranding game fan art piece.

The seashore is scattered with boulders and small stones coated in a sticky resin that glistens in the rays of the setting sun. The sea is calm, yet small waves still ripple across the surface, washing dead fish and a woman in a bright crimson dress ashore. The water near the rocks is dark, streaked with yellowish hues, as if mixed with resin. And in the distance, the last rays of the sun glint brightly off the smooth surface of the sea, shining through the small waves and beautifully illuminating the woman’s serene face. Her eyes are barely open, her unseeing gaze fixed straight ahead. Judging by her pale, bluish face, one might think the woman is dead. Her hair is tangled, and dirty strands cling haphazardly to her damp face. Her light locks smears sea mud across the neck and forehead, but the woman pays it no mind. A delicate gold necklace, caught in her hair, hangs from her neck, barely touching the water.

Yet, despite all the grime, the woman looks almos divine.
