Here's the magnificent world map, unfolded 🗺️

It features simulated stains and signs of wear. It’s in German (like the manual and the game) because the game was only released in that language.

(English versions are available today for Amiga and PC)

When you remove the sleeve and open the box (which is pretty big!), it's like Christmas! 😀

Inside, there's a 112-page manual, 9 floppy disks, a rune table and a world map. The latter two are printed on "weathered" paper 🪶

You can see the entire illustration on the cover of the manual (on the box sleeve, it's cropped. The manual includes sections on how to install the game on Atari ST/Falcon and MS-DOS, but those versions were never released (since the development studio closed).

So happy to finally own Ambermoon! ✨

It might be the most beautiful and ambitious RPG ever released on Amiga. With a cover art that's to die for 🤩

And I haven't even shown you the contents yet!

A very large box for the game Ambermoon (1994, Thalion Software) — On the cover, which blends fantasy and science fiction, we see a group of four adventurers (dressed in medieval attire) standing on a rocky surface. Behind them, in the background, is a beautiful galleon and a starry expanse featuring two large planets, one of which resembles Earth. In the foreground, seen from behind, is a hooded humanoid creature standing on its two hands (similar to those of a sort of iguana visible nearby) as if trying to pull itself up, with its gaze turned toward the adventurers.
