Hornet responds further. "...oh. You're sure?" Lace asks. "I am sure," Hornet says flatly. "It'd explain so many things about you," Lace finishes, still whispering.

Panel five shows Hornet squinting and looking very confused. "What" she says blankly, "does that mean". Overhead, the White Lady lets out a laugh.

In my head, the White Lady has finally moved on from her guilt and grief in the first game. She's been 'freed' from her binds (in a comic I intend to draw eventually) and tends to the ruins and gardens. Her lands are peaceful but largely unknown to the wider world. What was Hallownest is no more. The White Lady in Clockwork Banana's head has happy divorced wife vibes.

The Dung Defender is also still around?! But he's really old and missing his left horn. He has a big dopey Elderbug level grin. He carries around a clipping of Isma, her leaves mottled but thriving.

The White Lady has mended some of the relationships her late partner (the Pale King) fucked up before the Infection. The beings of the world survive as they always do, even in trying times.

I love women getting out of toxic relationships and living their best life after they are given the space and time to heal. Here is a comic with Hornet introducing her girlfriend to her bonus mom. I'm sure most Pale Beings last a long time if some other PB doesn't kill them first ;w;

The White Lady exclaims as they bump foreheads affectionately. She turns to Lace, asking "Oh? Who is this?" But Lace has never seen another Pale Being that wasn't her mum and is frozen solid. "What is YOUR name, little one?" The Lady asks, but Lace is too shy to answer.

Panel two shows Lace looking even more uncomfortable as the fleas begin to furiously sniff her. She must smell interesting given where she came from. Hornet says "We are back" as she holds a flea in her hands and lets it lick her face. "We see! And are so very glad!" Says Mooshka. Grishkin is laughing at Hornet being licked.

Panel three shows Lace from behind being startled by Kratt, who has taken it upon himself to introduce himself. "Oh my my my my... Why hello, Miss Hornet's beautiful new young friend..." He is creepy as ever.

Lace: Ugh, don't be gross.

The bonus comic is four simple panels showing Hornet sitting minding her own business and humming to herself. By panel two, a flea has joined her. By panel three, two more, with more incoming. By panel four we zoom in on Hornet's mask while it is surrounded by barking and howling and fluffy goodness, her mask bright pink. It is hard to tell if she is horrified or delighted but we can assume the latter.

In the first sketch he is looking very sad/scared/worried and saying "Miiisstresssssss" pathetically while Hornet, annoyed, responds "stop calling me that, bug..." The Author has noted that Styx must be protected at all costs next to him.

The next doodle is colored and shows them two days later. Styx looks very happy and purrs as Hornet rubs his big gooby face, calling him a "good boy".

The final part of the sketch is four comic doodles. The first has Styx holding out a silkworm larva to Hornet, saying "Misstresss, I made thisss, for you <3"
In the second panel Hornet is holding the larva and staring silently at it.
In the third she is staring up at Styx with stars floating around her head, calmly saying: "I fucking love this."
The final panel is of Hornet using Styx as a table and eating the larva. He is so very happy to have her giving him attention and contact.
