Linktober 2026: Ancient #linktober #legendofzelda #botw #ageofcalamity

While this could be any guardian, I was thinking of the battle-tested one from Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. After dying so much to guardians in BotW it was fun to play as one.

🗡️On the second day of October, Link and Impa fought a bunch of bokoblins and moblins, while Wario found an ancient relic - the Wii remote.⚔️

So #HyruleWarriors #AgeOfCalamity gets a *Definitive* version for Switch 2? Switch owners get a *discount*?!

Not a Switch 2 edition?

I just bought Age of Calamity not too long ago. I think I am going to pass. The new stuff doesn't look interesting.

Yiga second-in-command who's locked behind a challenge in a DLC level

Final boss who is locked behind a gauntlet of bossfights

Guess which one I have unlocked and thus had an easier time unlocking, the answer will surprise you.

I fought for my life in an underground monk bunker against a cocky bird, a fat ninja-man mourning his adopted son, and Link but he's wearing green, all to unlock that Vai Pageant and get this outfit but it was worth it!

Age of Calamity Definitive Edition is not a free upgrade.

Existing Switch owners get a discount, save transfer, Expansion Pass content and Calamity Mode on Switch 2. Is that enough to return?

Age of Calamity is getting a Switch 2 port. That's legitimately one of my favourite games. Everything looked great ...

Then I saw the Japanese box art and it's a game key card. Immediately turned a must buy into a game I will never buy.

Someone please tell me this is fake. (1/2) #AgeofCalamity

#NintendoDirect 09 Sep 2026 Thoughts.
#HyruleWarriors #AgeOfCalamity the #NintendoSwith2 edition looks like it has a way better steady frame rate. Also why wasn't this part of yesterday's #LegendOfZelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Direct?

#HyruleWarriors #AgeOfCalamity – Definitive Edition coming next year, but I don’t know if I want this. I actually have the game, but not even played half way through. I don’t like this continuous fighting things and it is linear.

I haven't played #Ageofcalamity in a while but man, I forgot how addictively fun it is. I still remember unlocking Calamity Ganon though, by way of a seriously over-leveled Riju backing the Demon King's avatar into a corner and beating him to death with a Sand Seal on a leash.

My #AgeofCalamity mains are as followed...

Zelda

Both her Sheikah Slate and Bow of Light feel so damn good to use. Also her use of the different runes is really funny, like this woman somehow makes a whole spider-crawling bomb-spawner. HOW!? Because she's a princess and can do whatever she wants!
