Book cover Title: A Risk Worth Taking Author: Nikki Ash, USA Today bestselling author *****Book review***** >Masked Attraction< Eliza (Ellie) Bardot and Lincoln Alexander have been around each other for years. She's had the biggest crush on him since he waltzed into her life many years ago, but memories and guilt keep her away. I like how their relationship as adults starts - even with the deception. I also love how her truth comes to light. There's plenty of darkness, bittersweetness, and angst that get mixed with heat and heart throughout. Micah and Sienna's girls bring enough sunshine to keep some of the demons tamed. They are a joyous duo. Not only does this start in a dark place, one that I suspected, but it doesn't end there. Please, if you need to check trigger warnings, do. Reading the duology in order isn't necessary, but I do recommend it. That said, if you have read the first book, there is a LOT of repetition in the early chapters. It bothered me because I listened to the books in quick succession, so everything was still fresh. If I had read instead of listening to it, I would've skipped over much of that part. The narrators, Lexi Evans and Gregory Salinas, are really good narrators and pull me into the story, allowing me to get lost in the storytelling. 🎧🩷🎧 Story: 4 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = 35; h = 21 >TROPES & TRIGGERS:< 🎙 Dual narration 🩰 Dancer x club owner 💦 Unprotected couplings ☠️ Touch her and die ⏰️ Age gap romance 🐣 Accidental Pregnancy ☠️ Sexual assault & violence 🎭 Secret identity 💋 One night stand 🔥 Open-door steamy scenes 🌶 🕐 First person, dual POV

Book cover Title: Down and Dirty, Italian Stallions Author: Mari Carr, New York Times bestselling author Narrated by: Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair, and Oliver Highpoint *****Book review***** >Car Camping No More< This starts in one of my worst nightmares. Jess Monroe and her adorable son, Jasper, are without a place to call home. It's sad how realistic this is and how easy it would be for so many to find themselves in the same situation for an equally easy reason. Even though a bit high handed on occasion, I love how protective Rhys Beaumont and Tony Moretti are about Jasper and Jess. It's quickly apparent that they are willing to do practically anything for their new housemates. -- Book quote 'That was when Rhys realized that Jess and Jasper had done the impossible in just two days. They’d claimed his heart.' -- Rhys Beaumont I love Rhys's and Tony's families. The way they welcome newcomers and the abundance of love they show is so heartwarming. For as loud and crazy as the Moretti's are, they're the kind of family I wish for. I feel like the ending came too soon, and I wish there was at least one more chapter as them together as a family. Extra... settling in time to Jess's new room wouldn't go unappreciated either. 😘 I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Oliver Highpoint, Marina Barrett, and Theo Sinclair, are all good. I've listened to all of them multiple times and enjoy them. 🎧 💙🎧 Story: 4 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 2.0x H1 & H2 = 35 & 38; h = 25 >TROPES & TRIGGERS:< 🎙 Dual narration 🧒 Adorable six-year-old 💙 Large, loud, loving family 🔥 Open-door steamy scenes 🌶 👩 Single mom ❤️‍🔥 Role play 🩺 ⏰️ Age gap romance 💥 MFM 🍑 Double play 🕐 First person, dual+ POV

Book cover Title: Secret Seduction Author: Nikki Ash, USA Today bestselling author Performed by: Theo Sinclair and Leanne Woodward *****Book review****** >Wildcard< Early reactions: Vanessa "wildcard" Baker is being thrown to the wolves. Yes, that's some messed up 💩 that she walks into. Still, I don't like how she handles it, but I'm trusting Nikki to make me love her and Lorenzo Russo. -- Book quote 'She saunters away, and I can’t help but watch her as she goes. I might not be the type to have one-night stands, but I can still appreciate her from a distance. And fuck is there a lot to appreciate.' -- Lorenzo Russo As much as I don't like the deception that starts their relationship, it isn't long before I'm forgetting about it and become invested in this family. The way baby Leo takes to her and vice versa makes my heart melt. And I absolutely love how she and Lorenzo build a relationship - one game of blackjack or soak in the hot tub at a time. I like that karma comes to collect from a few folks. It really couldn't have happened to more deserving people. I listened to the audio book. The narrators, Leanne Woodward and Theo Sinclair, are really good and easy to listen to. I enjoyed their performances. 🎧💛🎧 Story: 4 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = 36; h = 21 >TROPES & TRIGGERS:< ❤️ Found family 👶 Adorable baby 🔥 Open-door steamy scenes 🌶 🧔‍♂️ Single dad 🕐 First person, dual POV 🖤 Dark romance ☠️ Touch her and die ⏰️ Age gap romance 🍒 All V-cards retired 🍑 ⚖️ Vengeance / Vigilante justice 💦 Unprotected couplings 🫣 Semi-private encounters

Book cover Title: Forever Offsides Author: J. Saman, USA Today bestselling author Duet Narration by: Ryan West & Elena Wolfe *****Book review***** >I Love Her Sass!< LMAO! I have to tell you. You may want to avoid drinking during the first pages. I could've spit my drink across the room because this is HILARIOUS! Dr. Quinn Reyes is so stinking sassy, and I LOVE IT! Oh, and that chemistry with Rhett Jones is off. The. Charts! -- Book quote 'I’m going to feel him tomorrow. That’s for damn sure. But for now, I have another hour, maybe two, before my night with this gorgeous stranger who knows how to work my body like a bullfighter is over.' -- Dr. Quinn Reyes This couple is fun and easy to get behind, even when the dramatics ratchet up. I love the way they build their relationship. When their resolve disintegrates, that's when the real fun begins! 😘 I'm not a fan of the whole Russel thing as it relates to the present, but I do like that she eventually pushes back and sets clearer boundaries. In general, I do like the twist it adds to her budding relationship with Rhett but not the rest of it. Julie makes sure he's easily despised. I adore her family and friends. The love and support are fantabulous, adding plenty of humor and head slaps. 😂 The banter is 🤭 I see myself reading and listening to this again. I'm seriously tempted to do it now. It's highly entertaining, very engaging, and absolutely unputdownable! 🩵🩵🩵 I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Ryan West (one of my favorite narrators) and Elena Wolfe, are magnificent in duet. 🎧🩵🎧 Story: 5 stars Narration: 4.5 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = 45; h = 28 >TROPES & TRIGGERS:< 🎙 Duet narration 🩷 🏈 Football romance ❤️ (Found) family 🩺 Coach x team doctor 🔥 Open-door spicy scenes 🌶 🧔‍♂️ Forbidden romance 🕐 First person, dual POV 🎉 Fun with toys ⏰️ Age gap romance 💋 One night stand
