Aelynn's maternal grandparents were literally one of the VERY few reasons she is sane and had a better childhood while being neglected by her busy parents. They were the only people with whom she had a good relationship in this family.
They're now both gone, and Aelynn still mourns.

Aelynn has learned a lot through trial and errors, so she doesn't react much to failure. She is much like her grandmother in this way; it is better not to cry over spilled milk. Analyzing what's wrong, find a way to fix.
