They're terrific paired. All the actors had terrific chemistry. This thing is well-paced, emotionally resonant, a tremendous script...

I love these two as a romantic pair. I kind of thought this was a romantic comedy based on the poster and a trailer I may have seen at one point, but it's not really... well, it is and it isn't. It's just better than all of those, lol. Maybe it's a totally normal romcom, but it just hits and is great, so it feels different.

Great onscreen couple. They complement each other so well. The script helped, too.

High test scores impress people too much! I can tell you that for an absolute fact.

So he took AP tests without taking the courses, which I also did for a bunch of them. He took 8; I think I took 9 or 10 without taking the courses to go with them, bc they were free college credit, and easy as shit; I also got 5s on every AP test I ever took, with or without the classes.

He had a range of high-700s for his 3 SAT sections. Now, when I took it, it was just two sections, both of which I got perfect scores on. I also went out of my way on a separate weekend to take the SAT II Writing (which eventually became the third section of the SAT), got an 800 on that as well. So all of my scores were perfect (not my ACT; I got a 34 on that, and it still upsets me), and I also didn't take any SAT prep classes (although I did teach them for years after I left high school, for The Princeton Review).

"That's amazing." It's worse than what I did, lol.

"Yeah, amazing!" This whole movie is predicated on the idea that this kid is a special genius, so that makes me feel nice, because I'm more of a special genius than however much of a special genius he is, lol.

Tina Fey is a treasure. I kind of figured she'd written this movie, but I actually like it better than the movies she has written (sorry, Tina). I *really* love this script, and I think it's allowing for everyone in the cast to do some really fun, good stuff. It always starts with the writing!

Lol, Gloria Reuben is terrific in this cunty, unsympathetic role, Corinne. Everyone in this is great. Everything in it works. It's just an excellent film.

I adore Lily Tomlin in anything, but she's AWESOME in this. Great role for her. Why don't people talk about this movie? It's a lot of fun! I'm supposed to be writing an article right now, and I'm just merrily watching this instead, lol.

Y'all! This movie is delightful. Free on YouTube! You should totally watch it. I don't even recall hearing about it getting made. It's quite sweet and fun, though, and I like the characters a lot ☺️

I like the #Admission2013 title card, and I always enjoy seeing the Focus Features logo. It stimulates me, like my cat's toys do him, lol.
