Let's start today with a variation on this week's meme/ data scrape;

Just read the manga, bro.

#meme #9anime #9manga

9 foundational manga

Dragonball. Me and everyone else on the planet

Ranma 1/2. Takahashi is the Ur source of all of the jokes you're laughing at today.

Domu. Psychic old men are scary

What's Michael? Kitties are funny

Boku to Issho. "Transgressive" the 90s seinen comic.

Barefoot Gen. War is bad, okay?

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. Gives us a better end than we deserve

Pluto. Dammit! Astroboy made me cry.

Yotsuba&!. The best comic ever made. There will be no debate on this.

This was honestly harder to pick than I initially thought.

I was torn between Katanagatari & Zatsu Tabi for the 9th slot, but I went with Katanagatari since I wanted to watch it for the longest time and made it a year long experience when I finally saw it in 2025. #9anime #my9anime

Really thought I posted this but somehow it didn't go through.

These are just a mix of anime that has influenced me or changed my life. Doesn't count some of the other Ghibli movies I loved such as Nausicaa.
