@europanostra.bsky.socialThe #7ME selection gave the campaign international standing and a stronger voice with the press and local authorities. The Flemish Association for Industrial Archaeology (VVIA) continues to campaign against demolition and for the station's sustainable reuse.
@europanostra.bsky.socialThe #7ME recognition brought international experts, the first independent expert report and major media attention. Step by step came Getty Foundation funding, a Conservation Management Plan, emergency works to save the mosaics and national heritage protection in 2021.
