Day 9 of our #31for31!

The Fog 1980

Never seen this before, but I knew that John Carpenter would deliver. The atmosphere, the uncertainty, plus that classic charm that older horrors have were all brilliant ingredients for a wonderful spooky caserole! And the pacing could not be more on point!

Day 8 of our #31for31!

Creature From the Black Lagoon 1954

Watched this for the first time last night and I was genuinely surprised how good it was. The way they build the tension will the stealth swimming was great. I thought costume would bother me more too, but by the end I really loved it!

31 For 31 2026 Movie 8 Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come #31For31 #ReadyOrNot2

As for Week Two, here’s what I got! #31for31

Lucas reviewed one of the MANY Resident Evil Movies for his #31For31 for today. I honestly don't even know what "number" this one is. www.ffsf.online/post/review-...

Day 7 of our #31for31!

Re-Animator 1985

I’ve always heard about Re-Animator over the years, but for some reason never seen it. An absolute banger, plenty of gore and effects as well as a fantastic soundtrack/ambience. The jokes weren’t bad either, “What are they going to do… embalm us?!”

Day 6 of our #31for31!

Evil Dead 2013

This is the perfect modern horror “remake” in my eyes, not sure how the movie could be improved in any way. No notes… except maybe don’t read spooky books made of skin kids

Day 5 of our #31for31!

Other Side of the Box 2018

Last night I decided to take a “stab” at Handful of short horror films on YouTube (Think we did 4 total. Shout out to Shut Eye for validating my insomnia). Other Side of the Box was my favorite from the evening, I found it particularly unsettling

Here is my latest for #31For31. A review of the perfectly mediocre "The Sand" or "Killer Sand" or "Blood Beach" or "Blood Sand" ... Pick one already! www.ffsf.online/post/review-...

This one is for Lucas from yesterday for Hellraiser (2022). www.ffsf.online/post/review-... #31For31
