A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober What an odd finale for the series. A gory adult rendition of the 3 Lil Pigs meet Frankenstein. It's animation (and jokes) are cheap, but "The Third Pig" is certainly memorable! It acts like a proto-Adult Swim. A finale like a Freak Show. #horrorfam #horrorsky

A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober "My Brother's Keeper" is too weird to be funny and too (trying to be) funny to be scary. Two unlikeable brothers bicker and all supporting characters suck too. It's...fast moving? There's that... Sorta like a quick dentist visit. #horrorfam #horrorsky

A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober (a day late)! I think "Let the Punishment Fit the Crime" was the first ep I ever watched. Did Catherine O'Hara bound in stocks wake something in me? Yeah. Has the story of predatory lawyers/insurance goons being punished lost its punch? No! #horrorfam #horrorsky

A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober. "In the Groove" is one of the sexy thriller eps Tales occasionally did. Full of steamy/smokey lighting and background sax. They were never quite as good as the horror eps. This one is pure, EDGY 90s DJ courtesy of Miguel Ferrer. OK cheese. #horrorfam #horrorsky

A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober. For an episode called "The Secret" this S.2 entry is pretty predictable. The hammy 50s acting doesn't click for me, and SO much Day for Night! I wish this had been more sinister. Though it is nice seeing Larry Drake play a good guy. #horrorfam #horrorsky

A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober. The inaugural "The Man Who Was Death" may seem more like a hardcase/pulp story than horror, but it was the right call. Much due to William Sadler's TERRIFIC performance. Mean, lean, & makes you feel like you need a shower afterwards. #horrorfam #horrorsky

A Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober. "Top Billing" sure has some BIG performances. Basically a sitcom with a body count, but I kinda dig it! Theaters make good locales for horror, don't they? And if Lovitz doing Shakespeare was on your BINGO card? Mark it off! #horrorfam #horrorsky

1 Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober. I'm lost on the pun "Forever Ambergris" but that don't mean this ep isn't good & nasty. This is definitely a...wet episode. Lotta goo and gore. With this and Sliders, The Who's Daltrey had talent for playing evil. Young Buscemi plays doe-eyed well too.

1 Tales ep for every #31DaysinOctober. Man, I got lucky rolling season 2. 2 & 3 rock. Moses Gunn in "A Fitting Punishment" plays a vile asshole that stands out amongst a rogues gallery of villains this season. Revenge is sweet & messy. This one epitomizes EC's original series. #horrorfam #horrorsky

1 Tales ep every day in October. Moody piece, lots of lightning and thunder, but always one of the weaker season 1 eps for me (despite Amanda Plummer being awesome).
Another plus? I prefer the lady killer tropes over the black widows/gold diggers.
