Rescue Spartan reassembled, the work was helped by the terrible glue.

Scuffed the stripes on my dreadnought, forgot the paint didn't need thinking before spraying :(, but gotta say done eventually and chalk it up to a happy accident.

Fully painted saturnine dreadnought, hazard stripes are a bit fuzzy, but all trim is finished.

Spartan almost there. Its crazy to me how many people make models so roughly.

Perts blocking continues in work breaks. Slow yestersay as I did not have a bulk brush for the base.

The rescue spartan is not as bad as I feared on first look. There will be some filling after but nothing huge.

These 20 guys are done bringing me to 405 for the year.

Real fun, somehow still not sick of #ironwarriors 100 "tac" marines in. Prep for the Mega battle in April at Dagdacon continues, these guys are part of the 10k army I want finished well in advance.

it’s sat half painted for ages, the bell kept breaking off and at last it’s painted and it looks fantastic

Cerastus Knight Acheron; callsign Lich, is the last survivor of a long forgotten traitor house and the Titan legion it was bonded to. It is believed to have fought the Long War against the Imperium entirely within realspace, a fact attributed to the dark rumours around its fallen household and the experiments performed by them and the dark mechanicum during the heresy. It is a towering rusting colossus; the blue, black and gold of its original heraldry buried under centuries of soot, grime, rust and wear, yet it still functions nearly like new. It’s armed with a lengthy flamethrower charred with burn marks and a chains and bolter caked in gore from centuries of service. Atop the knight, cresting its bony crown is a singular ominous bell, long consumed by verdigris and tolls with every step. Said step blackens the ground with every footfall, the life it walks upon turning into a blasted wasteland.Shot facing the knights right side. Its sunken eyes glow an ominous teal. Where its torso armour would usually be is a gilded ribcage. The left arm is covered in rust, down to the bolters in its handCloser view of the flamethrower, its metal casing showing the telltale signs of years of usage, rust, warping and char.Closer portrait view of the knight. I got up to 15 of these guys done, was still trrrible. Went to bed crazy early. I was wiped out after a short walk.

I won't complain about getting little done or anything, I am just happy I was well enough to get anything done.

A heavy flamer sentinel made using the bits of the monopose penitent engine. A fairly dark scheme, I'm pretty happy woth how the green flames and the highlights on the red panels came out.
