Film #383 /Day 11.1: The Mask

One of those films that if I saw it in 3D, it might come out better but, as is, it's okay. A bunch of the sequences are suitably creepy but not a heck of a lot of plot there. #2026Films

Film #382: The Viking Queen

Hammer doing a Swords and Sorcery historical film that makes my history brain hurt. It's adequately made but never ambitious. The romance is also a little half-baked. Still, points for being weirdly anti-capitalist! #2026Films

Film #376: Forgotten Island

Stunning animation combined with a perfect 90s throwback and an honestly amazing narrative about the power of found family. It also has more than a bit of a queer bent to it that I absolutely love. I'm gonna be thinking about this one for quite awhile. #2026Films

Film #366: Mean Girls

Traditions gonna tradition. One of the smarter of the Late 90s-Early 2000s Teem Comedy trend. I guess Tina Fey gave it that little boost along with a cast who continued to go places for year after the film came out. #2026Films

Film #365: Digger

I am going to have to think on this. It's an amazing film, well shot, excellently acted. It's also on point with atomic precision. Tom Cruise hits it out of the park! I'm just... I can't even say half of what I'm thinking right now because my brain isn't there yet. #2026Films
