Now i've switched from an #iPhone 14 Pro to a #17e, i needed a new video out solution to continue streaming. So Tuesday i tried using #Airplay with a dongle and used #Aniimo to see if it worked. It did, and it was great spending more time with Aniimo and seeing more of it.

For #iPhone Friday i checked out #Aniimo on my #17e. it's a bad first impression. 11GB+ data download, tech issues, story telling issues, and not explaining things well. thankfully, the mechanics are interesting, gameplay was OK, and music is nice.

We have a pair of rapidly intensifying #hurricanes in the E Pacific - #Polo (#17E) has attained Cat 5 status for the 3rd time with winds of 155 kts, while #Odalys (#16E) has become a Cat 4 with winds of 115 kts. Polo has some time to strengthen even more before shear increases.

NOAA recon has found an extrapolated pressure of 889.3 mb in their current mission into #Hurricane #Polo ( #17E ). This would make Polo the second most intense Eastern Pacific hurricane on record after Patricia in 2015 (872 mb).

Recon is on its way to #Polo #17E, and they could find an extremely intense system (as if Category 5 wasn't intense enough). Recent microwave satellite imagery suggests that an eyewall replacement is actually not imminent, which means further strengthening is on the table.

#Polo #17E has achieved a rare feat - intensifying from a 45 kt tropical storm to a 140 kt Category 5 #hurricane in 24 hrs. There are indications that an eyewall replacement could occur, but Polo has some time to strengthen even further. Hopefully recon gets in before then.

#Polo #17E is now explosively intensifying in earnest as a seriously intense band of convection has flared and quickly wrapped into the tiny eyewall. Between this and the solidity of the inner core, this is going to seriously take off tonight.

Tropical Storm #Polo #17E appears poised for explosive intensification as it meanders off the coast of Mexico. A pinhole eye is present on microwave satellite imagery and intermittently on infrared imagery. Some of the models bring it near Cat 5 status later this week.

Tropical Storm #17E has developed just south of #Mexico and it is forecasted to RAPIDLY INTENSIFY into a Major #Hurricane, potentially reaching Category 4-5 intensity. MAJOR IMPACTS are possible for Socorro Island and Moderate Impacts are possible for coastal Jalisco, Colima, Guerrero.

UPDATE:
99E has become Tropical Depression 17E and is expected to become a powerful major hurricane by around Wednesday off the coast of Mexico. #17E

Heavy rain and strong wind gusts are possible in Mexico, but landfall doesn't seem particularly likely.

This week's #iPhone Friday was the first with my #17e. Random Dice 2, from 111%, is a fun dice themed tower defense game. But it's added some interesting mechanics, like co-op gameplay, deck building, and skill trees. i highly recommend it.
