When faithful work is lost in busyness
when our Call gets calendar displaced
May we be reminded that the noblest act
occurs in calm stillness

A single soft grey feather rests against a nearly black background, illuminated by a narrow, gentle light that reveals its delicate texture and separated barbs. The feather emerges from the darkness as the sole visible object, creating a striking contrast between fragility, light, and surrounding shadow.

Lecturing doesn't persuade
nor pontificating convince
nor bombastery sway
The Soul intuits truth
when we recognise
in one another
the spark Divine

Vibrant post-impressionistic painting of four open doorways arranged within a stone landscape. Each doorway reveals a different scene: a golden path leading towards mountains beneath a bright sun, two coastal sunsets framed in orange and blue, and a deep-blue night sky filled with stars above distant mountains. Flowering vines and purple irises surround the doors, while swirling, textured brushstrokes unite the contrasting scenes of daylight, sunset and night.

Love persists in Hate's midst
endures Oppression's machinations
As Fear seeds discord
Love reveals our shared humanity
& Mercy responds

Golden sunlight illuminates rolling clouds of mist flowing like waves through a forested mountain valley. Dark silhouettes of evergreen trees line the foreground, while layered ridges fade into the glowing haze. Warm amber and orange tones fill the scene, creating a dramatic contrast between light and shadow. The mist appears to cascade over the hills, giving the landscape a serene, dreamlike quality at sunrise or sunset.

Like an intrusion
runs through granite
seemingly impossible
two different strata
tenaciously bound
the Sacred is intimately
purled into each of us

An igneous intrusion cut by a pegmatite dyke, which in turn is cut by a dolerite dyke. These rocks are of Precambrian (Proterozoic) age and they are located in Kosterhavet National Park on Yttre Ursholmen island in the Koster Islands in Sweden. The oldest igneous rocks in this photo show features caused by magma mingling or magma mixing.

Interior view of a modern concrete structure built into a rocky mountainside. A large three-panel window frames a panoramic view of rugged, snow-covered mountain peaks beneath a clear blue sky. Dark stone walls and exposed concrete surfaces surround the window, creating a striking contrast between the shadowed interior and the bright alpine landscape beyond. A black textured floor stretches across the foreground, drawing the eye towards the dramatic mountain vista. The composition is symmetrical and minimalist, emphasising the connection between architecture and the natural environment.

A small brass pocket compass rests on a sandy beach near the shoreline. The compass lid is open, revealing a black and white compass face with directional markings. Soft-focus ocean waves and a cloudy horizon form the background, creating a calm coastal scene. The golden metal contrasts with the pale sand, symbolising guidance, direction, and navigation.

A silhouetted person is captured mid-air in a dynamic jump inside a weathered wooden structure. The photograph is taken from a low angle, looking up through a large rectangular opening towards a bright, overcast sky. Wooden beams and planks frame the scene on both sides, creating strong lines that draw the eye to the airborne figure. The contrast between the dark interior and the bright background emphasises movement, balance, and athletic skill, suggesting the discipline and precision associated with parkour.

Art Nouveau-style illustration of a winter landscape at sunrise. A large leafless tree stands on a snow-covered hillside in the left foreground, while an intricate network of roots spreads through a cross-section of dark earth beneath the surface. In the distance, a golden sun rises over rolling hills, a winding river, and a stand of tall trees, sending long radiating rays across a warm amber sky. Clusters of white snowdrop flowers bloom in the lower right foreground, symbolising the arrival of spring. The entire scene is framed by an ornate decorative border of flowing vines, floral motifs, and interlacing patterns characteristic of Art Nouveau design. The colour palette features gold, cream, olive green, brown, and muted blue-grey tones, creating a contrast between winter dormancy above ground and vibrant life hidden below the surface.
