Pretty good. Not going to remember much of this come the end of the year, but an original story on this scale is always welcome. 6/10

A lot going on here, which I'm grateful the trailer didn't hint at. Entertaining, loved Cruise, and a good example of show don't tell. Not great, but pretty good. 7/10

According to Google, it's impossible to create a perfect bite mark on solid wood without causing severe dental damage. 🤣 This film tried hard to sound smart, but it was so dumb on so many occasions. Glacial pacing, twist you could see a mile off, payoff non-existent. 3/10

Yeah, I wouldn't normally, but that's the challenge, right? Cute, harmless, and a couple of laughs in there. Respect for the art, too. The target-aged kid along from me was bored and left way before the end, though. Not sure how well it'll do. 5/10

Haven't missed the start of a film since Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Usually 20 minutes trailers, minimum. 🫠 Perfectly fine romantic drama, pretty much by numbers, with no surprises, and an underwhelming climax. Still annoyed I missed the start, though. 5/10

Really good action flick, but boy is it long. A lot to like about it, but I doubt I'll see the sequel (unless in pursuit of #100FilmsIn2028 or something. 😅) 7/10

Was a quiet screening, and I was glad for that when I was crying like a fucking baby. 😭😭 Slow burn, but it's all in service of the climax, and gets you right where it counts, when it counts. Oscar for Odin! 🐶 8/10

Different vibe to the other Resident Evil films I've seen. Pretty stripped down plot, and didn't take itself very seriously. Silly, mildly entertaining, ultimately not very stand out or memorable. 6/10

Went in blind and had a blast. Strong 90s action flick energy, and it nailed it. Rodrigo Santoro even pulled off a Gary Oldman pastiche successfully, a very easy thing to do badly. Fun, daft, brutal, energised and just plain entertaining. 8/10

No nostalgia for the first one, so this landed pretty flat. No twists, few turns, couple of laughs, some obvious callbacks, and a pretty bland overall experience. The last 20 minutes were honestly a slog and I was itching for it to be over. 3/10

Neither this poster nor the one on the bridge are scenes that happen. 😅 The first Fall was incredibly shot. The height & stakes felt real throughout. Rarely can you say the same for this, with most of it feeling like a soundstage. As for the dippy twist... 😬 4/10

Had been looking forward to this, and wasn't disappointed. Long may the Brennaissance continue, but Andrew Scott was just outstanding. Wonderful film all round. Loved it. 9/10
