I made a copy of a fan painting attributed to Guo Xi, a Song-dynasty artist. It depicts boats sailing along a spring river. The towering pines and wind-filled sails convey the vibrant spirit often found in Guo Xi's paintings.

My practice after a Song dynasty painting. It shows the ideal life of literati. In a beautiful rural area, with a great residence and some field, they can read in peace.
