The rain finally stopped for a few days so we could plant and do a bit of weeding and cutting. We are seeing more larger insects this year with the wet and warm weather. Interesting to see snails and the occasional tree frog which were absent last year. #tamagawa.ib #玉川学園　#ibmyp #労作

One student has set up there own bed to see what effect the addition of companion or beneficial plants will have with planted vegetables. Companion plants are Marigolds and Clover. The vegetables were planted by seed in the middle of the bed, Mizuna and Red Radishes. #tamagawa.ib #玉川学園　#自由研究　#労作

MYP students are back in the garden, getting ready for fall planting. Mulching, weeding, and turning over the soil. Hot work for all but impressively everyone steadily worked. Potatoes, daikon, lettuce, and cabbage are being discussed. #tamagawa.ib #rosaku #玉川学園　#労作
