@juliuskizito54.bsky.social🏆 Honoured to receive the Youth Impact Mental Health Award at the 5th Keturah Mental Health Awards 2026 at Sheraton Hotel, in recognition of outstanding impact in transforming lives of young peope through mental health work.
@oceanaeurope.bsky.socialEU fisheries don't need another reform. They need the rules already agreed to be implemented.
As the @ec.europa.eu prepares its #Vision2040 for fisheries & aquaculture, it should focus on ensuring Member States deliver on the #CommonFisheriesPolicy, rather than reopening it.
@juliuskizito54.bsky.socialMental illness is not a choice, but compassion is.
No one wakes up and chooses to struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, or any other mental health condition. Mental illness can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance.
@juliuskizito54.bsky.socialHappy 64th #IndependenceDay, Uganda!
Today, I celebrate a country I deeply love and proudly call home.
Dear fellow Ugandans. The future is ours to build together. 🇺🇬

Peace often begins with kindness.
A kind word. A patient response. A willingness to listen. A moment of understanding when someone is struggling.
Today, let's choose kindness toward ourselves and toward others. 💚

@juliuskizito54.bsky.socialSuicide prevention starts with #connection.
🔷A conversation.
🔶A moment of listening.
🟢A reminder that someone matters and belongs.
When young people feel seen, heard, and supported, hope has room to grow.

@evangelides.bsky.socialToday's @europarl.europa.eu vote to open up the #CommonFisheriesPolicy is shortsighted and disappointing. The #CFP does not need another revision, we do not need new rules nor a long revision process. The existing rules are fine. What we need is their full implementation. #Vision2040
@oceanaeurope.bsky.socialThe @europarl.europa.eu has voted to reform the #CommonFisheriesPolicy, ahead of the publication of the #Vision2040.
The @ec.europa.eu evaluation confirms the CFP is a strong framework for fisheries management. The priority should be achieving its objectives, not rewriting the rules.
@juliuskizito54.bsky.socialCelebrating 27 years of soul awakening.
Grateful for the journey, the lessons , the people and the purpose.
Happy birthday to me 🥳🎈

@oceanaeurope.bsky.socialThe squid on our plates may come from fisheries linked to illegal fishing.
Half of the 180 squid products analysed in our DNA study lacked key information, such as species and origin.
It's time for greater transparency in the EU seafood sector. #Vision2040 is an opportunity to deliver it.
