@robtomsk.bsky.socialAs a disabled person who experiences the PIP system firsthand, you can stick your analysis up your ****. Come back when you have valid responses and nuanced research findings. What gives you the right? Ideologically-driven hack research. #pip #timmsreview
@robtomsk.bsky.socialFlawed survey. Does not allow for those who are barred from economic activity-eg medically retired Whose pension based on full incapacity etc- this is ideological crap masquerading as good social science imo #pip #timmsreview
@johnpring.bsky.socialThe government has refused to say whether the disability minister was told that a member of the steering group reviewing #PIP was about to publish a report calling for spending on disability benefits for children to be slashed.

@aldtu.bsky.socialRight now is the time to challenge Timms review

The utter failure to genuinely consult with disabled claimants, let alone co-produce the report, is grounds for objections right now

@dis-ppl-protest.bsky.socialDon’t leave it too late to challenge Timms PIP review. Contact your MP now some of the MPs who were at the forefront of the rebellion last year are now talking much more positively about benefits change

Why? Some of the MPs who were at the forefront of the rebellion last year are now talking much more positively about benefits change. benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/right-n...
@dpac-cymru.bsky.social"Right now" is the time to challenge the #TimmsReview, says Benefits and Work.
Tell your MP that there hasn't been real consultation with disabled people and you want your MP to be clear about this when the final report is published.
@dpac-cymru.bsky.socialTimms Review rebellion: reject youth disability cuts
In South Wales last week, Disabled people, including #DPAC members and allies, asserted control of the #TimmsReview workshop to send a positive message of defiance.
@paulapeters19.bsky.social@dis-ppl-protest.bsky.social@robtomsk.bsky.socialHave those consultees involved in the #timmsreview really been pushing for this loss of PIP for under 25s? Or was the review a smokescreen for Milburn's 'work is the panacea' idea?
@robtomsk.bsky.socialIf true, this is a total PIP muddle by HMGovt. Surely Motability application is exactly the sort of transfer of PIP cash for an approved service that they are otherwise encouraging. Bizarre. Cruel. #Timmsreview #pip
@robtomsk.bsky.socialSham consultation #TimmsReview #PIP
@johnpring.bsky.socialThe minister leading a government review of personal independence payment has refused four times to rule out cuts to spending, but he has promised no disabled person will be forced to accept products or services instead of cash.

@paulapeters19.bsky.socialThe entire Timms PIP review is a shambolic sham. There has never been or intended to be real co production with disabled people at all. These workshops mute ideas (worded as a way to get support for cuts
@robtomsk.bsky.socialTimms example of a disabled person struggling to get a 'rise/fall' bed is an example of his muddle on basic facts. If clinical need is established, the NHS has a duty to provide this. Why the 'feck' is he using this as an example of flexible PIP use? Real ignorance. Scary. #TimmsReview #PIP

@dpac-cymru.bsky.socialDisabled people issue "direct warning" to Timms over proposed benefit cuts for under-22s
@dpac-cymru.bsky.socialAt our Timms Review workshop we sent a direct message to Stephen Timms. Participants held an indicative ballot and unanimously voted to reject Labour's dreams of cutting disability benefits for under 22s.
