Funny watching this after #TheUnsuspected last night with #TheNoirCollective. 🫣

On the contrary, we're all film nerds here, after all, and being exposed to ancillary nerddoms is one of the joys of a watch party! I can make out about 5% of what @ad6g.bsky.social is saying, and I am thrilled to have read it and grateful for your translation. 🤩

Same! And it is so fun because it's a small detail, and yet Curtiz included it. I adore this level of easter egg. #TheNoirCollective #TheUnsuspected

OK, this may be my single favorite piece of trivia from the watch party. So obvious when you think about it – but it never would’ve occurred to me. 😅😅 #TheNoirCollective #TheUnsuspected

I wish you would have! Terrific #noircheology!

Some unwarranted trivia; a couple of shortwave receivers from the glory days of the Hallicrafters company in #TheUnsuspected. One of them their top of the line flagship SW radio, the other looks like a mock up I've never seen elsewhere.

I thought you were calling for justice over the Hawaii 5-0 episode! 😂
Absolutely! She deserved WAY more to do that would build her more deeply into the plot. #TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

Right, that. Got it!
#TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

Wait, why does she need justice?
#TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

Jesus. That set would be chewed UP between the three of them. I think the chemistry he'd have with each of the other players has the potential to be so good it's actually a little hard to imagine the full scope. #AlternateUniverseTheUnsuspected

Sadly. No offence to the guy but I don't know why they thought he had *nearly* the screen presence to be in the same shot as Audrey Totter or Claude Rains, I mean... #TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

Haha - at first I thought you were talking about #TheBestYearsOfOurLives - since they're all in that. #TheNoirCollective #TheUnsuspected

She's capital "F" Fabulous!
OMG the LOOOOOK
(wonders if someone still makes fainting couches...)

Rewatch and the add Laura for a double feature!

Feeling lucky to be on the other side of that fun and generosity! 💚💚💚 #TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

True true... but I'd still like to rework that part a little. #TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

FYI,
For those that get the Movie Channel, note that Thursday is always their film noir day. And tomorrow one of the films scheduled is ...... "The Unsuspected".

You just made me want to see if there are any photos of him in tennis whites. 🎾 #TheUnsuspected #TheNoirCollective

Awww, thanks! ❤️ It's so nice of you to
say I have either of those things! 😄
