I love our dedicated, 1 program, 24x7, commercial free channels. Commercial free, but they still give you pee breaks. Phewww...

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.13 cont'd.
Need to rewatch to see what the traitor was actually responsible for as we didn't get too much of that character before the reveal.
The final shot with the kid was a needlessly shallow attempt to end on a happy note. Did its best to try ruin an otherwise very good ep.

#TheOuterLimits TV ep #7.13 "Summit" (21-May-99).
Very strong ep with fast moving action and fine sfx. I kept expecting Marcia Cross to be the traitor and that she'd refuse to suicide to cause war (ie BAD ENDING). Her back history did get analysed by Michael Ironside so her arc was resolved well.

#ScienceFictionTheatre TV 1.01 cont'd.
Whether it'll be all starchy military men and dutiful wifes like S1 of 1960s #TheOuterLimits (such a disappointment) I don't know, eg Ellen Drew didn't get to act here unlike her appearance on #SchlitzPlayhouseOfStars TV ep #2.31 "The Governess" (03-Apr-53).

#ScienceFictionTheatre TV 1.01 cont'd.
The intro/outro by Truman Bradley is good adding needed charisma. It related to the actual story unlike #TheOuterLimits control voice which is too peripheral to its preceding ep.
As TV it's too dry and terse like #TalesOfTomorrow but missing that live TV buzz.

youtube.com/@cassielstud... is my third YouTube channel where I ( #kailacrosse ) and #TonyaKitsune narrate stories written by me in a series #ShadowsRealm . Shadow's Realm is suppose to be our version of #TwilightZone , #TheOuterLimits , and shows like that.

#TheOuterLimits Novella 11 cont'd.
Again a decent story that doesn't outstay its welcome. The idea of animals taking over is one of the more entertaining ideas in this novella run by John Peel. Just one more of his 12 novellas to go after this now.

Remembering Donald Pleasence, born October 5, 1919 and passed away February 2, 1995.

The penultimate John Peel novella.

Review: soon

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.12 cont'd.
That time travel double dip should affect the timeline or have some other affect on Rubinek but no. What's his ex supposed to think about the girl? They might've made a point about obsession and work not making you free but it went for an unwanted saccharin coda.

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.12 cont'd.
Saul Rubinek plays a US Nazi hunter who works legally, ie so isn't an Israeli murderer. The ep's strength is when Rubinek's ideals are tested.
For me the ep should stop with time travel when the Nazi kills himself but then it double dips with rescuing his dead sister.

#TheOuterLimits TV ep #7.12 "Tribunal" (14-May-99).
This is TOL's most amibtious ep as it's a serious recreation of Auschwitz. It's got time travel in it so it has to tread a fine line so as not to trivialise the ep's serious intent. And it is great for 41' until the coda screws the entire pooch.

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.11 cont'd.
Though too theatrical a premise for TOL this could've been a very strong pilot for a Canadian TV show set in Victorian London. Wasn't #Sanctuary one such show later? #Warehouse13 did one such ep much later too. Albeit I think both mostly used SFX to create London.
