#setanosou wouldn't fit

#setanosou important 2 me that at this stage Mini has already been subjected to all manner of terrible assaults and abuses, and Sou knows this. Mini is still innocent and precious. To them. Innocence and preciousness isn't predicated on non-victimhood, or on being a ""good"" victim.

WE PUT A BABY IN A ROOM WITH NOTHING BUT WIRE MOTHERS FOR 14 YEARS, TRY TO GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT (REAL) (NOT CLICKBAIT) #setanosou

this also leads to some pretty awkward no-sells when an NPC is upset about an absent or deceased parent. Poor Koana trying to explain "my parents abandoned me, you see" and Sou fuckin Seta is like (waiting politely for him to get to the part she can see is a problem) #setanosou

She knows about Rasho and Tansui's legal adoption of her in the eyes of Doma though because otherwise she would have been put on trial for high treason after drawing steel against Hien in defence of Yotsuyu, leading to the apparent death of Gosetsu and loss of Yotsutu as a prisoner. 😇 #setanosou

people keep adopting Sou or trying to, but she generally has no idea it's happening because to her a mother and a father are things that exist to try to hold her down and to destroy her if they cannot do that. And these people seem nice #setanosou

the light aspecting froze her emotional state in place and she was literally incapable of not being ok with it <3 ^-^ #setanosou

Bad :) She always feared her friends only liked her because she was WoL. This would prove it to her.

She would probably return to the Ruby Sea, sign up with Rasho and Tansui (her adoptive dads in her home timeline), and terrorise the shit out of some sailors. #setanosou

The next time you look back they're simply. Not there. Whether it be by blinking or glancing to check the time. #setanosou #7.5spoiler

"don't worry, lad," grins the resistance man he never learned the name of. "we all get a bit starstruck with them! you're not the only one."

YES I AM is a cool, calming rock he can grip onto, steady himself with, feel the sharp certain edges of. like a breeze in a box.

i was looking for something else when i spotted this sou panel i havent shared in ages. sou seta when a hot girl hits on The Fetish™. absolutely useless. if halmarut ever figures this out the world is doomed #setanosou (2023)

Turns out "one giant lightwarden" isn't better than 5 smaller ones at all #setanosou

No one knows what it looks like cuz if you see it, or it sees you, it turns you into an eater.

it's eldritch cuz they aren't supposed to know they're in a video game, y'see :)

Her equivalent of nanako................ Waou they'd be the same age by dawntrail patches..................... #setanosou

sou seta canonically keeps a bunch of stuffed animals and similar items in her saddlebags btw #setanosou

I think it has prepared her really well for later Azeming. The Scions have their first reckoning with "these people have done or benefitted from unconscionable wrongs, but they still deserve to live, to choose" in eulmore (soft) then garlemald (hard). For Sou it was Doma via Yotsuyu. #setanosou

i do think it was a bigger revelation for Sou than in canon that doma was an omelas (*sou perspective) though. As a former omelas child herself (i.e. style of skapegoat abuse where the child is told their endurance of it is load bearing) I think it hardened something in her permanently. #setanosou

i am genuinely not ruling out the concept of maxima, hien (yes hien), meteor, sou seta, and their 6 echobearing companions forming a conspiracy to keep yotsuyu somewhere safe and **away from doma** until a cure for tempering can be found. somewhere well out of the empire's reach. #setanosou

hien actually doesn't tell anyone about it this time. he could see she was simply dedicated to protecting yotsuyu, the same as before. he feels in his heart that perhaps with more time, less pressure, less *asahi*, that sou and gosetsu could even have worked out a *life* for yotsuyu. #setanosou

AND THEN she crosses steel with him A SECOND TIME at castrum fluminis, arguably leading to the summoning of the primal! for a hot fuckin second there everyone, including Meteor (who is still a cowol at this stage), was a little bit frightened that she would refuse to put tsukuyomi down. #setanosou
