Day 17 prompt was ”monster” and i found this DARLING opera costume from the 1700s. Had to kind of invent what the face would actually look like on a person (the plate this is based on was very stylized) but I think that is allowed.

Dawn of the third week of #drawtober and I am still doing my fashion history theme using the @sarjakuvaseura.bsky.social #sarjakuu prompts. To fulfill today’s prompt I decided to lean into flowers/botany and go for an art nouveau look

Day 14, final day of week two of #drawtober and the #sarjakuu prompt was ”mirror image”. I struggled a little bit with this one, both with finding an outfit and with the drawing itself BUT i got it done and that’s what matters

Day 13 was ”bedrock” so I wanted to draw back from old Finnish history again. LOOVE these sleeves….

Day 12 called for something that was causing a distraction or a disturbance and who has done that more than the Vikings hehe. This was also fun to do because I got to go further back in time than I have since the start :D loved how colouful this was!

First week of #Drawtober is done and the second one dawns so it is time for a new thread. Today’s was a challenging but then I found this charmer from the 20s (approximately)

The prompt for Day 7 of #sarjakuu was ”abstract” and so I knew I just had to draw a gorgeous patterned fabric about it.

Day 6 was ”tear” (as in rip) and so I ended up choosing to draw inspiration from Finnish history. Fun fact, the picture I based this on is one Järnefelt took because he used it as a reference for a painting, which is extremely famous here.
