An easy paced sunrise jog listening to a 174 bpm playlist. Light trail shoes chosen today as I picked up a blister in my road shoes yesterday (wrong socks!). Loving the weather , 7° and sunny.

Sunrise run. Needed my head torch initially. Loving the way the light continually changes during the run. Some local wildlife out and about.

Back on home turf & a slow blustery run this morning. Surprisingly slow, but given the wind and jet lag ! Just had my toes sorted by the chiropodist - ah bliss & hopefully fewer complaints from my family!

Last #run before the #Toronto Waterfront #Marathon. Tomorrow I start hoovering potatoes & rice. Remarkably this time around I’m not the least bit sick or injured or afflicted by #maranoia (which happens to be one of my favourite neologisms). #RunSky #RunnersOfBlueSky #MarathonTraining

Tuesday gym session. Still not allowed to put too much strain on my shoulder, so today was a treadmill/bike workout. So glad to be back running. #runnersofbluesky #UKRunChat

It’s always an interesting experience to find your life reflected back to you in someone else’s fiction, as when a character in a Steven Heighton novel recalls #running with her father in Toronto’s Don Valley. #Books #Reading #CanLit #RunSky #RunnersOfBlueSky

Last Charlotte run before we fly this afternoon.Needing to get a run in to start the week before jet lag hits 🥱I’ll miss seeing the grandkids but I don’t want to hear ‘Let it go’ from Frozen for a long time!

A relaxed rainy run, on the margins of storm Isaias.I wore my gilet initially but despite the rain it was too warm to wear 🥵. Best music was ‘Going Under’ - Evanescence and ‘I am the highway’ - Audioslave

Must remember to trim my old man eyebrows before my next run. They pose a hazard, obscuring my vision, wicking salty sweat into my eyes, and, when they grow long enough, tripping me up. Or maybe I could just tie them behind my head with a hair clip. #Run #RunSky #RunnersOfBlueSky #MarathonTraining

Heavy rain when I set off this morning, I did have second thoughts, but it cleared up quickly and my gilet had to be discarded. Enjoyed the reflections, smells and sounds of a rainy run.

Went out for a #run this morning, intending to take things at an easy conversational pace. As is typical, I have no self-discipline and went out like a little kid. Whee! Look at me! I’m #running like an idiot! So much for training plans. #RunSky #RunnersOfBlueSky #MarathonTraining

Nice early run. Planned a shorter 6 miles but it ended closer to 7 anyway. Enjoying this early running, few cars, and just a few folks/runners about. Running is my happy place where I can control the agenda.

Love these morning runs, better than the treadmill runs at the start of this holiday. I like the mix of greenway trails & urban running. Only downside is the inordinate time waiting at road crossings😠.

Big day today ! I started running a few years ago and went through a whole variety of shoes until I finally found some that felt just right. Today, this pair hit 1000 km. Well done, little EVOs – and thank you for helping make every run such a joy 🥳 #running #runnersofbluesky #adidas #adizeroevosl

Starry skies for an early run. A bit of exploration this morning, connecting up more of the greenway paths. Trail running in new areas, even urban trails, really enhances any holiday.

An early start. Head torch run and 17°. Faster pace after a w/e off and blessed by the Garmin gods with a ‘maintaining’.
