This ripped-up redhead can scrap at any distance. Grappling her is a bad idea, while keeping your distance opens you up to blinding ground glass and damaging, long-range shard throws. Draw her huge Vorpal Shard and dismember all in her way! #pipecleanerart

The Evil Wardens who run these stupid contests told me I’ve won my full pardon more than enough times. They must get sick of looking at me; them and a thousand others. They can stick the pardons up their asses. Leave the arena? Nowhere else on earth brings the release I need. Nothing can bring the pain like this place. Pain is how I was able to stop riding the H train in the first place. Stupid fucking parents. Prison didn’t cure me. Prison doesn’t cure SHIT. No: it was the scarification that kept the monkeys off my back. And this arena will make sure they stay off. Because there’ll always be some asshole across the killing floor who knows I’m gonna kill them, so they’re going to slice me up first. And it will feel. So. Right. ‘Leave’? Screw that noise!”

Deep down, I knew the day would come when I would pay for my crimes. But whatever I had done should never have extended to Elatio. He was not complicit in any of this. He was just a clown. He only wanted to bring happiness to everyone in the Twilight of Reason. Hah! “Twilight of Reason”; tell me about it. For while only I could bring Elatio the Clown to life, people nowadays are incapable of separating the art from the artist. And now Elatio- a clown who only ever wanted to make children laugh- is dead. Sentenced to fight in the death contest meant for me. Murdered by a thoughtless slice across my face with a glass shard- and to reuse this tainted, torn canvas to depict Elatio would be a disservice to his fans and our childhoods. To avenge the loss of this innocent character, a new clown has risen from this wreckage. As his face emblazons my chest, I call him Torseau. He appears with the best paint I could find in this cell block. And since hate is the language anyone nowadays speaks, he has converted Elatio’s shoes into weapons- weapons hungry for that damn redhead.”

That one guy you read about who had a reverse respiratory system, exhaling oxygen and inhaling CO2; yeah, how inspiring. Such a miracle! Yeah, that's how I'm able to breathe fire- thanks to this propane tank backpack. And I can't say your superficial 'awareness' towards my condition did me any real favors- especially when I was immolated by my own yawn when a cameraman took a smoke break near me. So once I win AMPUTHEATRE and earn my pardon, I will CONTINUE to burn down entire cities! Maybe YOURS!"

With the most meddlesome of authorities snooping in search of the girls my rituals require, our coven needed a countermeasure. And what better method than giving one of our church’s stone cherubs life? Sister DeGarmo’s blood magicks animated it, while my gravitational powers imbued the heavy, unwieldy monster with effortless flight. By perforating intruders with arrows from the camouflage of architecture, DeVarique proved itself the perfect guardian to the Church of The Cleansing Moon. But now word has reached me that DeVarique is gone. If my suspicions are correct- and I fear they are- the gargoyle is becoming sentient. DeVarique has realized that if it cannot regularly receive human blood, it will revert to a lifeless statue once more. Most presumably it has fluttered his way to one of the United States’ many reprehensible AMPUTHEATRE arenas. If this is true, then our church’s security is compromised- and my quest to claim the Arcanuum Ex Mysteriius has now become more urgent than ever.”

THE BAGMAN
This living cadaver is an eclectic mix of brawling, zoning and defense. Chopping him up pollutes the area, while his body bag stockpiles blood to absorb later. Arcing projectiles and an AoE breath weapon and teleport top the zombie off. #pipecleanerart

My lawyer tells me I fell into a coma after losing in the test battles, and that I woke up screaming in the morgue a week later. He also says to stay on camera: once a decent human rights organization discovers what was done to me, I can sue the Wardens for everything they’re- Hey, you okay...? You look woozy. Must’ve been me slowly squeezing the needlehole in my bicep to fill the room with tissue gas while I was yapping. Don’t worry, though! Soon you’ll be with the other guys dumb enough to call this a ‘garbage bag’ to my face!”

But before I could open key waterways into Cairo, the Ten Plagues struck- along with a posturing idiot screaming about burning bushes. So terrified was the Pharaoh that I was ousted from his palace. The Xenichthys were furious that my task went unfinished, and I feared their wrath even after settling in Canaan. While Moses was away, my people crafted several calves of gold for the Atlanteans as an apology. But Moses returned unexpectedly and had almost all of us murdered as blasphemers.
