This does indeed wrap up my coverage of the #PimaSupes meeting.
Thanks to all that followed my posts tonight.

This does indeed wrap up my coverage of the #PimaSupes meeting.
Thanks to all that followed my posts tonight.
For the next joint hearing of the #PimaSupes/#TucsonCouncil, it all came down to Steve Christy.
Two other #PimaSupes couldn't make the proposed meeting and Christy - who has a second home in California - had to commit to the November 19 date.
There is a ton of back and forth on how to spend the funding, and how much to spend.
Pima County Supervisor Matt Heinz said the health department has told him that food banks are giving out less (per person) because the demand is so great.
Currently, the #PimaSupes are discussion $10.5 million proposal to invest in county employees, the One Pima initiative and expand funding for additional Superior Court employees (and judges.)
And we're back. #PimaSupes
It's unclear whether the issue is with Supervisor Heinz - who is attending virtually - or something with the equipment here.
This ends #CallToThePublic with #PimaSupes.
She uses some of her time to play on her phone for the #PimaSupes the low hum heard at other data centers.
Before her time ends the audio clip shuffles to other music on her phone.
As we wait for all of the proclamations to be wrapped up, I might as well give my usual guidelines specifically tied to Call to the Public/Call to the Audience.
And if you don't know what they are talking about, they are *supposed* to post staff reports, presentations and other related public documents here: pima.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=...
Here we go! The #PimaSupes meeting starts now.
𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗
Good evening, #Tucson. I'll be doing my best to give you the play by play from the #PimaSupes meeting, brought to you by the @tucsonagenda.bsky.social.
The fun starts at 5.
Yes, the 120 day data center moratorium was passed late Tuesday night by the #PimaSupes. We dug into the details of what they actually passed and what it means to the two data centers we know about it.
In short? Both are completely exempt from the moratorium.
This wraps up my #PimaSupes coverage. Thanks to all who followed along.
The #PimaSupes are discussing the proclamation policies.
It could potentially lead to three proclamations a meeting, although board could override their own rules at any time.
It passes 4 to 0.
I am sticking around until the #PimaSupes meeting ends - I have questions - but there isn't a lot to left on the agenda to write about.
County Supervisor Rex Scott refers to advice from the Pima County Attorney's Office, saying he is going to vote against the moratorium based on that advice.
Scott also thinks the health study impact of data centers brought to the #PimaSupes from the board of health is flawed.
It looks like there is three votes on the #PimaSupes for the 120 day moratorium on data centers.
And we're back. #PimaSupes
Feel free to start your own rumor. #PimaSupes
If you are asking what happen to the #PimaSupes feed, they went immediately into executive session before discussing the 120 day moratorium.
So the question is, what reasons did they want to go behind closed doors to talk with their lawyers?
Did someone threaten legal action?
