WIP: Almost there now. Should finish up this weekend, then I'll get started on Onslaught.

WIP: Maybe 80% done now. Just need to finish the metallics, add the energy effects, and knock out the basing.

WIP: Got the base colors down on the Prime Sentinels. I think the rest should go pretty quick.

Blue Marvel remains one of my favorites so far.

Got some initial color down on the Prime Sentinels so I could test out the new phone camera.

I just posted a guide to how I painted The Mighty Thor at goldenageguides.net/painting-the...

The Warriors Three! What a fun bunch of lads.

All hail The Mighty Thor! I feel like this is a good stopping point. If I try to push the lightning and OSL further, I'm as likely to ruin it as I am to improve it. Prime Sentinels are up next before finishing this batch with Onslaught.

WIP: Nearly done now. Just have to finish the lightning and move on to some Sentinels.

It's been a little over a year since I wrote my last painting guide. Now I'm trying to get back into the swing of it. Here's an alternate look to Psylocke from back in 1991.

WIP: Much of the model is done now. Just need to finish the rivets on the belt and add some gold accents before moving on to the lightning and the base.

WIP: Got the hair and armor done for now but I'll go back later to refine them a little more.

Onslaught is finally ready!

I am very excited to get him to the table and have been fiddling with lists for him. Its going to be a good time, I think.

Big thanks for @atomicmassgames.bsky.social for sending him my way. Its very much appreciated!

WIP: Laying down the base colors for The Mighty Thor.
#paintingprotocol #crisisprotocol #mightythor #marvel #wipwednesday

Starting to get the hang of layering whites: base with an off-white, shade with gray, highlight in white.

Yellow is not “two thin coats”, it’s more like thirty. Phoenix came out nicely with little effort.

“Would love to start a new Doctor Strange,” I said, as the monkey’s paw curls.

Very WIP … and I can’t find his head.

Hey, @atomicmassgames.bsky.social, help a guy out?

This was supposed to be therapeutic.

After my first ever #crisisprotocol tournament at Hour of Cards in Winston-Salem, I'm feeling more excited than ever to paint up some Marvel minis. Next batch primed and ready.

All I need to do now is his back piece and then all of the armor is painted!

Then it's just a matter of painting the base and spell effect.

It's all easy going from here. I just need to Paint his head, basing and magical effect and then hes good to go.

Hoping to try him out next weekend, if we play MCP.
