#Summertime on #Netflix cause TPTB had the audacity to make the Black woman lead part of The Disposable Black Girlfriend trope!!

I was so heated about that fact that I tweeted the 🇮🇹 Netflix account in Italian to cuss them out for the #misogynoir that infect the series. #streaming #tvsky

I feel like some of the criticism of Nara Smith, especially compared to others who have done the trad wife influencer circuit (tho not in couture) has some roots in #misogynoir cause folks complain about her a lot more than the other [former] trad wives for *reasons* #socialmedia

#misogynoir

It won one award total from the Black Film Critics Circle for Viola Davis, but literally nothing else, and no Academy Award nominations at all.
I blame #misogynoir

I'm disappointed but not surprised.

I've noticed that some of the most viciously nitpicky folks online toward Black actresses are other Black women. 🤧 Whether it be her hair, her level of melanin, et al... #misogynoir is coming from inside the house. #ADifferentWorld #streaming

How often are Black women and girls expected to become the “emotional mammies” of schools and workplaces—doing the thinking, fixing, caretaking, and problem-solving for people whose authority exceeds their competence?

Yep. #misogynoir

Go ahead, keep insisting that the pearl-clutching condemnation Kamala Harris got for appearing with Meghan McCain (who is nowhere near the walking sewer Steve Bannon is) was NOT #sexism #racism #misogynoir

I cannot stand Chris Brown & I'm not a fan of Crockett doing this at all because Chris Brown is awful.

That said, some folks in this thread are definitely letting their #misogynoir flags fly quickly. Crockett is not your slave nor a mule for Talarico even after she endorsed him.

I cannot stand Chris Brown so seeing the hold he still has on a lot of #Blackwomen saddens me. 🤧

That said, some of y'all are also using this moment to do too much about Jasmine Crockett AGAIN as you're never happy unless you can abuse or demean her in some manner continually. #misogynoir #USA

#OneChicago is QUICK to cut people of color first and especially Black actors when it's time to trim the budger. 😐 I'm tired. #ChicagoMed is off my DVR series recording list with this news about Naomi being off the show. #tvsky #misogynoir
